Product Description
Wavy Caps belongs to a different chapter of the spore library. While many specimens in the Holy Spore archive are cubensis lineages, this one points toward woodchip paths, damp autumn air, and the wilder edges of temperate mycology.
Its famous wavy cap margin gives the species a visual signature that feels symbolic — like a ripple in the veil. Wavy Caps carries a cooler, sharper mysticism than the tropical cubensis lines: less golden temple, more wet woodland shrine. For microscopists, it offers a distinct species-level study with its own ecology, morphology, and place in the psilocybian record.
The species name Psilocybe cyanescens is associated with Elsie Wakefield’s 1946 description from Kew material, and field references consistently emphasise its core identifiers: hygrophanous chestnut-to-buff cap tones, a characteristically wavy mature margin, blue bruising, purple-brown to purple-black spores, and an association with woodchip mulch or other lignin-rich debris. Its common name comes from that undulating cap edge, one of the more recognisable silhouettes in the psilocybian record.

Handling
These syringes contain Psilocybe mushroom spores suspended in 10cc of distilled water. They were prepared in lab conditions using a flowhood to make sure you get pure specimens for your studies. These spores can be stored for up to 2 years in the fridge or 6 months in a dark place with a stable temperature.
To ensure successful transfer onto your microscope slide, ensure your workspace and equipment are clean using the isopropyl alcohol wipes provided. If there is liquid remaining, replace the needle cap without removing the needle to ensure the rest of your sample stays uncontaminated.
