This cultivar has the feel of an old road-worn relic: simple, memorable, and wrapped in the folklore of early spore circles. Its name has travelled through decades of catalogues, forums, and collector lists, becoming one of the most recognisable entries in the cubensis record.
B+ is one of the longest-running commercial cubensis names still in active circulation, and its history carries the kind of old trade folklore that gives a lineage real archive gravity. The original B+ is commonly associated with Mr. G of Foggy Mountain Farms in Florida in the late 1990s, alongside an older and much-repeated claim that it had some connection to Psilocybe azurescens. That claim now sits more comfortably in the realm of legacy spore-trade mythology than accepted taxonomy, but it remains part of the story that made B+ memorable.
For collectors and microscopists, B+ matters because of its longevity. It has remained visible through decades of changing trends, forum eras, vendor catalogues, and shifting strain fashions. Its name is simple, its reputation broad, and its place in cubensis culture firmly established.
Spores are supplied strictly for lawful microscopy, taxonomy, educational study, and collection. In the UK, any lawful interest must remain confined to the spores. International customers are responsible for checking legal requirements in their country.
These syringes contain Psilocybe mushroom spores suspended in 10cc of distilled water. They were prepared in lab conditions using a flowhood to make sure you get pure specimens for your studies. These spores can be stored for up to 2 years in the fridge or 6 months in a dark place with a stable temperature.
To ensure successful transfer onto your microscope slide, ensure your workspace and equipment are clean using the isopropyl alcohol wipes provided. If there is liquid remaining, replace the needle cap without removing the needle to ensure the rest of your sample stays uncontaminated.
Holy Spore products are sold for microscopy, taxonomy, educational study, and collecting purposes. These spores are not for human consumption. Spores are supplied ungerminated, and their lawful use depends on the species, the customer’s location, and the laws of their jurisdiction.
In the UK, spores of some psilocybin-producing mushrooms may be legal to possess while they remain ungerminated, as they do not contain psilocybin themselves. However, once germinated or cultivated, they may produce controlled substances, which can make cultivation illegal unless a person has the proper legal authority, licence, or exemption. Laws vary between countries and regions, so it is the customer’s responsibility to understand what they can and cannot lawfully do before purchasing or handling any spores.
By ordering from Holy Spore, you confirm that you are responsible for acting within the law where you live. We cannot provide advice on cultivation, germination, harvesting, preparation, dosage, or consumption. We’re sorry to be strict, but messages relating to growing or consuming psilocybin mushrooms may result in a ban from our services, to protect both our customers and Holy Spore.
Study carefully, tread lawfully, and treat the hidden kingdom of spores with respect.
Specimens provided for microscopy and observational study only.
